Water-soluble varnish on a special acrylate dispersion base is intended for varnishing wooden parts (for example, wall panels) of interior decoration and other wooden surfaces indoors. Forms a hard, wear-resistant semi-matte coating.
Stir the varnish thoroughly before use. The surface to be varnished must be clean, dry and free from sanding dust. It is recommended to use FURNICOLOR, FURNICOLOR PRO or TONTEKS wood stains before varnishing. You can also tint the varnish itself (EC Base) in the RILAKOLOR system. The air and paintable surface temperature must not be below +10 ºC. The air relative humidity must be not higher than 80%. Avoid direct sunlight and draught during varnish application. Application. PANEL VARNISH is applied with a spray gun, brush or roller along the wood grain in 2–3 coats. Apply in even coats, preventing local build-up of varnish. When using tinted varnish, it should be noted that the appearance of the finished coating (film transparency and colour tone) will depend on the varnish consumption, wood species and colour, as well as the application method. Therefore, a test painting on a small experimental area is recommended before varnishing the whole surface. Consumption: 8–10 m²/l per coat. Drying time at +20 ºC is 3 hours. Drying time until the next treatment (sanding) of the product is 4 hours. Use water to clean work tools. Dried varnish residue is removed with acetone or solvent 646. Store in a tightly closed container at a temperature not lower than +5 °C.
