DESCRIPTION:
Fast drying anti-corrosion direct to metal paint is based on modified alkyd resin and is suitable for steel surfaces for indoor and outdoor use. It forms a wear-resistant semi-gloss surface. Paint-primer can be tinted.
FIELD OF APPLICATION:
Paint-primer is suitable for steel surfaces used both indoor and outdoor. It is recommended to use on metal structures, for technological production equipment and to paint other items required quick painting (priming is not obligatory beforehand).
TECHNICAL PARAMETERS:

PREPARATION FOR USE:
Prior to the use of anti-corrosion paint-primer it must be mixed thoroughly and diluted using white spirit or equivalent thinner to the desired working viscosity (0–5% by volume when applying with a roller or brush).
PREPARATION OF SURFACE:
Before applying anti-corrosion paint-primer the steel surface must be cleaned from dirt, corrosion products (rust) and grease. If the surface cannot be cleaned completely of corrosion products at least detached rust particles must be cleaned and the surface must be scrubbed by abrasive tools (sandpaper, wire brush, grinding tools, etc.). However, it should be taken into consideration that the corrosion protection efficiency will be slightly lower in this case.
APPLICATION:
Anti-corrosion paint-primer is applied on a clean dry surface in two coatings by brush, roller, sprayer or airless spray painting units (nozzle diameter 0,011″–0,017″). The use of anti-corrosion paint-primer by spraying is permitted only on painted industrial manufacturing and workshop surfaces. Air and surface temperature range can vary from +5°С to +35°С. 50–70 μm dry film thickness per layer is recommended. Relative humidity should be less than 85%.
TOOL CLEANING:
Use VAITSOL or white spirit for cleaning of tools.
