WATER-SOLUBLE COVERING WATERPROOFING PRIMER

ON THE DISPERSION BASE OF MODIFIED ACRYLATES

The primer is intended for painting concrete, plastered and brick surfaces in exterior and interior works. The primer has increased hydrophobic properties, good vapor permeability and reduced water absorption capacity.

When finishing surfaces exposed to the atmosphere, the use of a primer is recommended before painting with such acrylate water dispersion paints as FORAKRIL, SOKKEL, ENAMEL AQUA UNIVERSAL. In this case, the use of a primer will reduce the consumption of the top coat, improve adhesion to the primed surface and help prevent the release of salts on the surface to be painted. At the same time, the decorative appearance of the coating will improve.

The use of a primer in interior works makes it possible not to use another material for applying the top layer.

PREPARATION OF PAINT FOR USE:

Mix paint well before application. Dilute with water till required viscosity, if necessary.

PREPARATION OF SURFACE:

Clean off any dust, dirt, chalk, previously painted coat of glue paint or other type of old flaked paint.

PRIMING OF SURFACE:

Porous plaster and concrete surfaces should be primed using FORAKRIL BASE.

APPLICATION:

Apply 1 layer to surfaces to be painted. Air and painted surface temperature may not be lower than + 5ºC and air relative humidity not more than 85 %.

TOOL CLEANING:

Use water for cleaning of tools.

STORAGE PERIOD:

36 months in tightly closed manufacturer’s container at the temperature exceeding +5ºC.
