MOVILAT 4 – Deep matt acrylic water-based paint for walls and ceiling. Fast-drying easy-to-apply water based paint with great adhesion to new and previously painted plaster, concrete, brick, gypsum board and different types of wallpaper surfaces. The paint is characterised by excellent spreading capacity and vapour permeability, as well as moderate resistance to washing solutions. Non-dripping during the application. Paint is intended for painting of ceilings in dry and medium-wet residential, office, public, etc. medium-duty areas. May be also used for painting of walls. May be used for painting of plaster, concrete, brick and gypsum board and embossed acrylic, vinyl and glass fabric wallpapers, as well as wood-fibre and wood particleboards. This paint may be also applied on prepared metal and other surfaces previously painted with water-based paints. White (A base), may be tinted in to light shades using RILAKOLOR tinting system. Resistance to wet friction: Class II EN 13300 (ISO 11998).
PREPARATION OF PAINT FOR USE:
Mix paint well before application. Dilute with water till required viscosity, if necessary.
PREPARATION OF SURFACE:
Clean off any dust, dirt, chalk, previously painted coat of glue paint or other type of old flaked paint. Treat the oil- or alkyd-painted surfaces with sandpaper until light-matte appearance is reached.
PRIMING OF SURFACE:
Porous plaster and concrete surfaces should be primed using MOVILAT BASE, FORAKRIL BASE, AKROPRIM or MOVILAT 4 paint itself diluted in water up to 15% of the paint volume in advance.
APPLICATION:
Apply 2 layers to surfaces to be painted. For the application of the first layer, we recommend to dilute the paint with water up to 10%. Application of 1 – 2 layers is recommended in case of repainting of the previously painted surfaces. Air and painted surface temperature may not be lower than + 5ºC and higher than + 30ºC. Drying time at 20ºC temperature is 1 hour. Consumption is 8÷12 m2/l for 1 layer.
SURFACE TREATMENT:
Cleaning of freshly painted surface is allowed not earlier than one week after painting. A soft cloth or sponge dampened with clean water or weak alkaline cleaning solution may be used for cleaning of the surface. Cleaning should be completed with soft cloth or sponge dampened with clean water.
TOOL CLEANING:
Use water for cleaning of tools.
STORAGE PERIOD:
36 months in tightly closed manufacturer’s container at the temperature exceeding +5˚C.
