DESCRIPTION:

Fast-drying nitrocellulosic  varnish. Nitro lacquer is designed for finishing wooden furniture used indoors. It provides a durable, smooth, and transparent coating that protects the surface while highlighting the natural beauty of the wood. This lacquer is perfect for both new furniture and restoration projects. Provides protection while enhancing the natural beauty of wood.

FIELD OF APPLICATION:

Varnish is designed for finishing wooden furniture and interior elements used indoors:

• Tables, chairs, cabinets, dressers, and other wooden items.
• Wooden panels, door frames, baseboards, and other wooden surfaces for indoor use
• Restoration: Refreshing and protecting old furniture, giving it a new and attractive look;

Suitable for treating wood that may release resin in knot areas, which helps prevent yellowing of the light surface when applying the water-dispersible exterior wood paint AKVATOP.

TECHNICAL PARAMETERS:

PREPARATION OF VARNISH FOR USE:

Mix paint well before application. Dilute with solvents 2290 and 646 till required viscosity, if necessary.

PREPARATION OF SURFACE:

Clean off any dust, dirt, grease or other contamination and sand as required.

PRIMING OF SURFACE:

To enhance adhesion and ensure even application of the varnish, it is recommended to prime the wooden surface with NITROBASE primer. After complete drying, perform intermediate sanding to remove raised fibers.

APPLICATION:

Apply with a brush or spray gun to clean, dry surfaces in 2-3 coats, with intermediate drying of each coat for 2 hours at an ambient and surface temperature between +5°C and +30°C. The relative humidity of the air should not exceed 85%, and the moisture content of the wood should not exceed 16%. Intermediate sanding is recommended.

TOOL CLEANING:

After work wash painting tools with solvents 2290 or 646.
