DESCRIPTION:
A composition designed for removing old paint and varnish coatings. An effective and convenient way to prepare a surface for new finishing. Penetrates and softens the paint layer, allowing easy cleaning of the surface without damaging the substrate. Easy to apply manually and especially effective on complex areas—carved surfaces, corners, and hard-to-reach places where mechanical treatment is not possible. Suitable for removing alkyd, acrylic, vinyl, polyurethane, hybrid single-component epoxy lacquers, primers, and paints (both solvent-based and waterborne).
AREAS OF APPLICATION:
Suitable for removing old coatings from metal and wooden surfaces in exterior applications and, with proper safety precautions, for interior use. Not recommended for plastic surfaces.
TECHNICAL PARAMETERS:
Drying time at 20ºC temperature: | 30 min |
Specific gravity, g/ml | 0,95 ± 0,03 |
Consumption: | 2÷4 m2/l |
Solvent: | 646 |
Tools used for application: | Brush , spatulla |
Storage period: | 36 months in tightly closed manufacturer’s container |
Packaging: | 1 l |
PREPARATION OF PAINT FOR USE:
Mix paint well before application. When working indoors, remove food products and animal feed from the treated area.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
The surface to be treated must be thoroughly cleaned of dirt, dust, and any type of contamination.
APPLICATION:
Apply with a spatula or brush onto the dry painted surface in a layer 0.5–1 mm thick. Allow to act for approximately 30 minutes until the old coating shows a blistering/swelling effect. Once softened, remove the old coating with a metal spatula. If necessary, the remover may be applied again. After use, clean the surface with solvent 646. Before subsequent painting, to ensure optimal adhesion of the new coating, degrease the treated surface with a solvent (acetone or xylene).
TOOL CLEANING:
Use solvent 646 for cleaning of tools.
