RIATOP gloss is a weather-resistant quick-drying alkyd enamel. Intended for painting primed metal roofs, façades, structures, equipment, vehicles (except passenger cars) and other objects outdoors. It is made in two gloss levels: gloss and semi-matte. The enamel can be tinted in both TEMACOLOR SCALA and RILAKOLOR systems. Base A (TAL) can be used as white enamel or tinted in light shades; Base C (TDL) can be tinted in dark tones.
Use RIATOP PRIMER for priming steel surfaces. Use VL-02 primer for priming aluminium and galvanized surfaces. Stir the enamel thoroughly before use. Dilute to working viscosity with xylene or SOLVEKS SPRINT solvent if necessary. The air and paintable surface temperature should not be below +5 ºC during application. Air relative humidity – not higher than 85%. Apply in 1–2 coats on clean dry surfaces with a brush, roller, sprayer or airless spray equipment (with a nozzle diameter of 0.011″–0.017″). The drying and curing time until application of the next coats is shown in Table 1. The consumption of enamel depending on the thickness of the coating is shown in Table 2.
