Usage

TEKSTURDEKOR EC Base paint is intended for decorative finishing and protection of outdoor wooden surfaces. The paint forms a thin semi-transparent hydrophobic film that does not obscure the wood structure. TEKSTURDEKOR EC Base paint is used only tinted (use of non-tinted EC Base outdoors is not allowed). Colourless paint (EC Base) can be tinted in the RILAKOLOR tinting system using the COLTEC WOOD catalogue in 75 different shades.

Stir the paint thoroughly before use and apply with a brush on a clean dry wooden surface in 1–2 coats, carefully rubbing along the wood grain. Board ends should be treated with special care. It is recommended to stir the product periodically during use (at least once every half an hour). The air and paintable surface temperature should be above +5 ºC during application and drying. Air relative humidity must not be higher than 85%. Drying time at 20±2 °C is not more than 8 hours. Consumption on planed surfaces is 9–11 m2/l per coat, 4–7 m2/l per coat on untreated surfaces. The paint is ready to use and does not need to be diluted. Use white spirit or VAITSOL solvent to wash tools after work.  It is recommended to use up all of the product.

Storage. Cold does not affect the product. Store in a tightly closed container in a dry, well-ventilated place away from heat sources and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding +40 ºC, separately from food products or animal feed.
