DESCRIPTION:
Wood Protect is a deep-penetrating preservative designed for the treatment of wooden construction elements. Thanks to the use of effective biocides, it provides long-lasting protection against rot and other forms of biological damage. The use of modern binders ensures reliable moisture resistance.
FIELD OF APPLICATION:
Recommended for the treatment of non-decorative structural wood components such as roof beams, rafters, joists, underground parts of posts, and other concealed elements. The colorless version of WOOD PROTECT can also be used as a primer for wooden surfaces exposed to outdoor conditions. Suitable for both new untreated wood and previously used aged timber.

PREPARATION OF PAINT FOR USE:
Mix paint well before application.
PREPARATION OF SURFACE:
The wood must be dry (moisture content below 20%), clean, and free of dust, dirt, and fungal damage. Contaminated areas should be mechanically cleaned using a brush or scraper.
APPLICATION:
When applying with a brush, treat the wood until fully saturated. When using the dipping method, immerse the elements at least twice, allowing at least 1 hour of drying between each immersion. Full drying is achieved in 24 hours (at +20°C).
Minimum application and drying temperature: +5°C and maximum relative air humidity: 80%.
Pay special attention to the treatment of end grains and surfaces that will be exposed to high moisture.
When used as a primer for exterior wooden elements, the colorless WOOD PROTECT can be overcoated with TEKSTURDEKOR paints in matching colors, as well as other alkyd enamels or waterborne paints suitable for wood surfaces.
TOOL CLEANING:
Use white spirit or solvent VAITSOL for cleaning of tools.
