DESCRIPTION:
Effective wood protection product on low molecular weight alkyd resin base. Ensures protection against the impact of various atmosphere factors. Paint forms thin semi-transparent hydrophobic film that does not hide the wood structure. The formulation includes fungicides that provide long-term protection (8–10 years) against mold, algae, and other biological threats.
FIELD OF APPLICATION:
The paint is used for treatment of wooden surfaces exposed to atmosphere. It can be used either for treatment of new or previously treated (impregnated with TEKSTURDEKOR , TEKSTURDEKORS AKVASATIN or TERRACEOIL and TERRACEOIL AKVA) surfaces provided that suction ability of surface remains unaffected. Colourful paints TEKSTURDEKOR are used as an independent means for decorative finish and protection of external wooden structures. Colourless TEKSTURDEKOR (EC base) is used as a base for tinting in various colour shades. (Use of untinted TEKSTURDEKOR for exterior surfaces is allowedonly as primers layer).

PREPARATION OF PAINT FOR WORK:
The paint is ready for use without dilution. Mix the colourful contents before application and during the work.
PREPARATION OF SURFACE:
Before application, the surface must be dry, clean, and free from dust, grease (including oil stains) and other contaminants. For previously used or aged wood, disinfection with AKVASEPT solution is recommended.
PRIMING OF SURFACE:
Untreated wooden surfaces should be primed with WOOD PROTECT wood preservative before oil application.
PAINTING:
Apply paint with a brush on clean, dry surfaces in 1-2 layers, ensuring smooth application along the direction of the wood grain. Pay special attention to thoroughly treat the edges of the boards. Air and surface temperature during application and drying must not be lower than +5°C, relative air humidity – not exceeding 85%. It is recommended to periodically stir the product during use (approximately every 30 minutes).
CLEANING OF TOOLS:
Use white spirit or solvent VAITSOL for cleaning of tools.
