Reduces the water absorption capacity of painted surfaces, as well as improves the adhesion of subsequent coats. DUST PRIMER can be used on concrete, brick, plastered, plasterboard and other mineral surfaces. Primed surfaces are intended to be coated with suitable topcoat paints, depending on the type and use of the surface. Water dispersion paints such as Lateksil, Lateksil 3, Movilat Base, Movilat 4, 7, 12, 25, Nuovamat, Interior Professional 7, Movilat Anti-Bacterial and ENAMEL AQUA UNIVERSAL are recommended for indoor use. Water-dilutable Foracril paint and solvent-based Fasolite paint are recommended for outdoors.
When finishing concrete and plastered surfaces indoors or finishing building structures that are not exposed to adverse atmospheric factors, the primer can serve as an independent coating. At the same time, surface strength is improved and hydrophobic properties are provided.
Heavily dusty surfaces require prior dust removal with a suitable brush. New concrete surfaces should be cleaned of the so-called lime milk (see Instructions on preparing concrete surfaces for painting).
DUST PRIMER is ready to use and no dilution is required. Apply 1 to 2 coats on dry surfaces with a paint brush, roller or spray gun. Consumption for one coat depending on surface condition: 7 to 10 m²/l. Surface drying time at 20 °C: 1 hour. During application, the air and paintable surface temperature must not be lower than +5 °C. The relative air humidity – not higher than 85%. Wash painting tools with soap and water after work. Store in a tightly sealed container at a temperature not lower than 0 °C.
