Heat-resistant enamel for metal surfaces is an excellent choice when long-lasting protection and an attractive appearance are needed for surfaces exposed to high temperatures.
DESCRIPTION:
Heat-resistant enamel based on silicone resin. Prevents accelerated oxidation of steel surfaces when exposed to high temperatures. An ideal solution for protecting and decorating metal items exposed to intense heat. Maintains its protective and aesthetic properties even under high-temperature conditions.
The enamel is available in black and bronze colors.
FIELD OF APPLICATION:
Designed for painting steel surfaces exposed to high temperatures (up to +400°C) and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Ideal for painting stove doors and frames, sauna stoves, fireplace grates, steel chimney elements, and other heat-exposed metal structures.
The paintable surface must be very carefully prepared (cleaned of all dirt and degreased). Stir the paint until homogeneity before use. Dilution is not usually required. Solvent 646 or 647 is recommended for washing work tools. It is recommended to use a brush, roller or sprayer for application. Apply paint in 1 coat with a consumption of 10–11 m²/l. The specified paint consumption must be strictly observed and a local thicker coat must be prevented to avoid cracking or delamination of the coating. In case of rapid heating, a slight odour may occur after the first application. In this case, the room must be ventilated well. Drying time at 20±2 °C is 1 hour.
